At What a Story, we provide a range of creative services, including explainer videos, product demos, animation, and more. Our process varies depending on the service but typically includes scriptwriting, storyboarding, visual style development, design, and animation.
We require a 50% upfront payment to begin the project, with the remaining 50% due upon final delivery. Clients paying 100% upfront receive a 10% discount. Payments can be made via local or international bank accounts, PayPal, or Payoneer.
We offer unlimited revisions as long as they are fair and reasonable. To ensure efficiency, we encourage clients to provide all revision requests at once for each stage (e.g., scriptwriting, storyboard, design). Revisions to previously approved stages (e.g., changing the script after storyboard approval) may incur additional charges depending on the scope of the change.
Refunds are offered for the portion of work not yet completed. Since video production is a creative process, we understand if a client wishes to stop a project. In such cases, we calculate the refund based on the remaining work. If a client is unresponsive for 29 days or more, we reserve the right to cancel the project without a refund. Projects put on hold for 29 days or more may incur additional charges to resume.
Clients are required to participate in an onboarding call with our team and an offboarding call upon project completion. Throughout the project, clients must approve each stage of the process via email before we proceed to the next. Clients are welcome to be as involved in the process as they prefer, but timely feedback and approvals are essential to avoid delays.
Our standard video resolution is 1920x1080 HD. We can accommodate custom dimensions upon request. Typical timelines depend on the project scope and complexity, and we strive to meet agreed-upon deadlines. However, delays caused by a client’s lack of feedback or unresponsiveness may affect delivery.
Upon final payment, clients receive full ownership of the work created, including all rights to use, modify, and distribute the materials as they see fit. We will not include your work in our portfolio or promotional materials without your explicit consent.
We strive to deliver the highest quality work, but we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including unresponsiveness from the client. If a client fails to provide feedback or approvals within 9 days, the project will be put on soft hold, with a 7-day reassignment period to resume. For unresponsiveness beyond 29 days, the project will be put on hard hold, with possible extra costs to resume with a new team.
We aim to resolve disputes amicably and directly with the client. In cases where mutual resolution is not possible, we may seek legal counsel to resolve the matter. Both parties are encouraged to act reasonably to minimize harm and disruption.
We respect our clients' confidentiality and are open to signing NDAs upon request. All proprietary information shared during the project will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the project.
